The startup environment is all about constant, relentless change. It’s about building fast while ensuring a high quality of coding since smart investors require both if they’re going to engage. And there are always unknowns when working with any client, among them cash flow capabilities, listening carefully to uncover the pain points you’re responsible for solving for them, and defining projects in a way that both parties can understand and agree to.
WHAT WE DID
Our Chief Technical Officer (CTO) provided constant project oversight, managing and massaging the process to ensure cost-effectiveness while still delivering robust results. To honor the client’s budget, we had one full-time developer and occasional supplemental help, where needed along the way, to ensure the success of the project. We delivered QA (Quality Assurance), DevOps, mobile experts and even our CEO’s business expertise where it was helpful to provide workable solutions to the tasks at hand.
Over a period of 12 months, iLocator raised Round A investments and extended their technical team from 1.5 to 5 people. We built a web version and a mobile app for their product. They are on schedule to beat the timeline they established to meet their goals.
